Note that where an provisional tax instalment date falls on a weekend or public holiday (excludes regional holidays), the deadline automatically moves forward to the following business working day.

Why are dates important to tax pooling?

Knowing when a taxpayers' provisional tax instalment dates are within any given financial year helps to ensure tax pooling arrangements are set up for the right periods. 

Tax pooling allows you to have an extra 75 days past your terminal tax date to pay provisional or terminal tax payments for the current year or one just completed.
